Exporting your data and deleting your account
Flatren lets you take your data with you and close your account whenever you want — both are self-serve from the Profile tab.
Export your data
Open Profile → Export my data to request a copy of everything we hold about you. The download link appears on this screen when your export is ready — usually within a few minutes.
Tap Request my data
Flatren starts building your archive.
Wait for it to finish
When it's ready, a Download ZIP link appears on the same screen. The link expires after a while, so grab it promptly.
Your export includes your profile, payment handlers and preferences; the properties, units and leases you manage; payment requests and payment history; uploaded photos and documents; and the notifications you've received.
Delete your account
Open Profile → Delete my account. We'll sign you out and lock your account immediately. If you don't restore it within 30 days, your personal data is permanently removed.
Confirm it's really you
If asked, confirm it's really you — re-enter your password, or re-authenticate with Apple or Google.
Type DELETE to confirm
Type DELETE — capital letters, no spaces — in the "Type DELETE to confirm" field.
Tap Delete account
Your account is locked and the 30-day countdown begins.
What's removed after 30 days: your name, email, photo, payment handlers, password, sign-in, in-app notifications and push registrations, and any unclaimed invites.
What stays: past rent payment records on leases you were part of — the other party needs them, so your name is replaced with "[Deleted User]". Properties, units, and ended leases are also kept for the other party's retention window.
