Inviting the other party
A lease in Flatren becomes truly useful once both sides are on it: rent requests flow, payments get confirmed, and the history stays in sync. You connect the other party with an invite link or QR code.
Invite as a landlord
When you create a lease, the Lease created sheet offers a few ways to invite your tenant: Share invite, Copy link and Show QR.
Closed the sheet? You can invite any time. The lease detail screen has an Invite tenant section with the same options — Share invite link, Copy link and a QR code — until the tenant joins.
Invite as a solo tenant
Tracking your rent solo and want your landlord on board? Open the lease detail and use the Invite your landlord section to send the link. Once it's out, the section shows Invitation sent — you can re-share the link or cancel any time before they accept.
How the recipient joins
Send the invite
Share the link — it looks like
https://flatren.app/invite/<token>— or show the QR code in person for them to scan. They accept
The recipient opens Join with invite link, pastes the link or code, reviews the lease, and joins.
The lease goes active
Once they accept, the lease goes active and rent starts flowing between you both.
