Getting started as a tenant

As a tenant, Flatren keeps your tenancy in one place — your active lease, the rent you owe, and your payment history. You join in one of two ways: by accepting your landlord's invite, or by tracking your rent on your own.

Accept your landlord's invite

If your landlord set up the lease and sent you an invite, joining takes a few taps.

1. Open Join with invite link

   Go to your Profile tab and tap Join with invite link.

2. Paste the link or code

   In the Invite link or code field, paste the full link (https://flatren.app/invite/…) or just the code after /invite/, then tap Continue.

3. Review and join

   A sheet shows the lease before you commit — the rent, the dates, the property and unit, and any backdated past rents. If it all looks right, tap Accept and join lease.

Find your way around

Once you've joined, your tabs are tuned for tenants: Leases, Payments, Records, Alerts and Profile.

Your active lease lives on the Leases tab, and you pay rent from Payments.
