How to add a property
A property is the top of the tree in Flatren — once it exists you can add the units inside it and the leases that go on those units. Here's how to add your first one.
Add the property
Open the Properties tab
As a landlord your primary tab is Properties. It lists every property you manage.
Tap the button in the top-right of the Properties tab
The button sits in the toolbar at the top of the list. It opens the Add property screen.
Name the property
Name is the only required field — it's marked with an asterisk. Use whatever helps you recognise it, e.g. "Grand Canal flat". Everything else is optional.
Add the optional details
You can add a photo with Add photo (from your library or camera), fill in the address lines, city, post code and country, or tap Choose location on map to drop a pin.
Save
Tap Save. Your property appears in the list, ready for its first unit.
What's next
A property on its own doesn't hold a tenancy. Add a unit inside it, then create a lease on that unit to start tracking rent.
