Linking records to payments

A record can be linked to payments as evidence — a utility reading tied to the utility bill, a repair cost tied to a condition photo. It keeps the evidence and the money together.

  1. Open the record's Payments section

    On a record's detail screen, find the Payments section and tap Link payments.

  2. Choose from the picker

    The picker is grouped into Tenant payments and Property costs, showing only eligible payments on the same lease, unit, or property — already-linked ones are excluded. Select as many as you need.

  3. Confirm the links

    Tap Link. The selected payments appear under the record with their status badges.

The status badges come straight from the payments themselves, so you can see at a glance how each linked rent payment or cost stands.
