Recording a property cost

Rent is only half the picture. Logging what a property costs you — mortgage, repairs, insurance, and the rest — lets Flatren show the real margin you're making. Recording a cost is a landlord-only action.

Record the cost

  1. Open Payments and add a cost

On the Payments tab, tap AddProperty cost.

  2. Choose the property

Pick the Property (required). You can also pick a Unit if the cost belongs to a specific one — that's optional.

  3. Set the category and amount

Choose a Category — Mortgage, Repairs, Insurance, Agent, Utilities, Tax, Furnishing, or Other — and enter the Amount (required, in your preferred currency). The Paid on date defaults to today. A description is optional (it's just a short note for your records), and you can attach up to 5 receipts.

  4. Save it

    Tap Record cost.
